MediaStar Software is the manufacturer software resource portal built for MediaStar satellite receiver users. Our goal is simple: make it easy to identify a receiver model, find the correct software release, review its version and date, and download it through a clear, dependable interface.
This site focuses on the MediaStar ecosystem. It is not a general multi-brand download directory or a marketplace.
What We Provide
A Library Built Around MediaStar Receivers
The current catalog contains 224 receiver models and 1411 published software files. Product pages are organized by model, and release lists are ordered by the software release date wherever that information can be identified reliably.
We keep the public interface focused on information users actually need. Internal storage, synchronization and infrastructure details are intentionally kept out of the customer-facing experience.
Free Software Access and Sharing
Software files made available in the MediaStar download library are provided to users free of charge for compatible MediaStar receivers. Unless a specific file or bundled component states otherwise, users and service technicians may re-share the original, unmodified software file free of charge.
Redistribution permission applies to the downloadable software files themselves. It does not automatically grant permission to copy this website's original written content, design, database, photographs, logos or other brand assets. Full redistribution conditions are explained in our Download Policy.
Responsible Software Use
Receiver software is model-specific. Before installing any firmware, verify the exact receiver model and software version. Installing software intended for a different device can cause boot problems, loss of settings or hardware malfunction.
If a file appears incorrect, unavailable or linked to the wrong product, use the report option on its file page or contact us at info@ms-download.com.
Keeping the Service Free
The software library is intended to remain freely accessible. The website may use advertising or other supporting services to help cover hosting, bandwidth and maintenance costs. Advertising does not determine which firmware is listed or how receiver software is organized.
